I've had my January 5, 2006, large plain Classic Sebenza from NGK for a few days now, and I can't begin to tell you how happy I am. First off, how easy is it to open a large Classic with one hand? Each opening is a pleasure. The large Classic fits my big mitt like a small Classic never could, and so a large Classic will be my EDC. The large Classic even fits perfectly in my dress shirt pockets lying down, so as not to offend the sheeple at the office. My Classic will be my primary cutter on freshwater and saltwater fishing trips--for cutting monofilament and for cutting bait such as nightcrawlers, sea robins, bunker, clam bellies, and squid. And so my Sebbie will be in need of lots of disassembly and cleaning, which translates into lots of enjoyment.

Congrats on finding your EDC friend. CRK makes incredible knives, and you may find yourself wanting more than one before long.

Great choice!

Congrats on acquiring such a fine knife.

I recommend using the lanyard with slippery bait...Davey Jones collects Sebbies too. ;)

Congratulations!

A large classic is what I carry mostly these days.

I hear you. That is why I spent most of today practicing lanyard knots. I'll use rawhide to protect my Sebenza.:)
