The largest folder you can get for 50 or 60 bucks

Got a birthday coming up so looking to treat myself. I like large folders but not sure whats available in that price range. Just looking for something thats tough and cuts well. Friends dont know much about knives and would be shocked to see how much a good knife coasts so I figuared I would get one myself. Also where to get would be helpful. I've seen some sites have the endura 4 frn priced at 100 bucks or a gerber applegate at 130. Not a good deal..

Look at the CS Voyager series in VG1. 5" clip point or tanto would fit the bill me thinks. Also look at Boker offerins, they have some nice knives extremely well built etc.etc. Kershaw I imagine does too as well as BUCK. keepem sharp

FYI, sometimes "largest" may be too large. I just gave a friend my Gerber Parabellum. It sat around in a draw for probably close to 20 years because it was too big for my hand...

Yeah, +1 on those BIG CS's. Great for the $. Also look at the Benchmade LFK, can get for about $60, but not for long because of discontinuation. Interesting design...

You might take a look at an Ontario RAT 1. Terrific reviews and can be had at half your budget with some shopping. Comes plain or serrated, however, get the satin finish since the black is just painted on. :thumbup:

Large ? Check out Outdoor Edge Magna if you can find one still , Aus8 , beefy linerlock , big ol knife for that price range , very sturdy.

+1 on spartan, it is big super sharp and super tough, also opens real smooth. The CS pocket bushman is also large but I heard the locking mechanism on it has a nasty habbit of leading to chopped up fingers when closing. Also, the CS voyager series get pretty big they have an XL. Another beast is extrema ratio's RAO
