The Last Battle Tomahawk.......

This is a hawk I've been working on over the last couple weeks. The reason for the name is mainly because I can't remember how I totally forged it. The head was hand forged from a 6" X 1" square piece of 1084/95. The cutting edge is 4" and the head length is around 9". The haft is hickory wrapped in buckskin with 3 turks head knots. Its a real hand full.......

I think that is one of the nicest 'hawks I've seen. I really like the lines and the transitions from spike to haft to blade. The wrapping on the haft really adds a nice finishing touch. It's no wonder you've been winning so many awards lately! :D

That is one of the best spiked hawks I've seen. I like the spike a lot, and the head looks sort of like a viking axe... looks great!
