I've been lusting over one of these Queen Cattle Kings for quite some time now, and with Christmas past, I ordered one for myself from Mike at CollectorKnives.net.

Wow, what a beauty. Look for more pics to come here and/or in the "What Traditional Knife..." thread.

Oh, is it the "last knife I'll ever need"? Probably not, but it certainly could be... ;)

The last knife you'll ever NEED? Very likely. That's a beauty, and should last a lifetime (at least) if not abused.

The last knife you'll ever WANT? Probably not.

Anyone else notice he used the term "Need" and not "want" or "lust after"?:p

You've picked a beauty to lust over.

Bwahahahahahahahahaha......:p:p:p

Thanks for the laugh. I needed that.:cool:

lol... I've told myself that 3 or 4 times...

If you can make it go, more power to you!
But I doubt it! ;)

Nice.. really nice!

CONGRATS!

Last knife you will ever need? THAT is darn funny!! Thank you for the laugh this am.

It's been said before but the Queen amber bone is consistently some of the best handle material being used on production knives IMHO. It is always impressive. markksr...congrats to you and your son for some fine additions.

One of those claimed a space in my right pocket since I got mine 2 weeks ago.

I agree. It could be.

Maybe the last one you NEED, but then again any well made knife COULD serve for, possibly, the rest of your life. However, the last one you WANT, I'd assume not. That's a nice knife for sure, I need to get a Queen, I'd like to try out their D2.

1 apple, 2 pears, and half a dozen Clementines down and still going strong!

I should make some youtube videos of my "Knife Testing"... ;) :D
