The last knife you get

Another 'just one knife' thread :p This time, the government, or your wife (whichever you fear most) declares that you can obtain one last knife. You can buy, trade, 'acquire' any way you please, but it is the last time. No more knives come into your possession, even received as gifts. You can keep what you have, just not increase by any more than this last one. So, what do you get? Something for the kitchen, one last EDC, an art knife, a bit of nostalgia, a duplicate for one you already have?

I think I'd break down and get a fully engraved Ron Lake taillock, or maybe a Moran ST-23 folder

I would most likely go for a Hinderer XM-18 3.5 flipper. That's been my grail for quite some time now.

Something large and classified as a national treasure of Japan. ;)

Any kind of Kukri to KILL whoever said I can only have 1 more knife!!!!!!!!!LOL

The ZT 0560. Been looking to pick one up for a good while now with no luck and I am not going to be paying the prices being asked for one on the for sale forums. I know that I'll get my hands on one, just have to be patient for a while longer....:D

Just to add; a Hinderer XM-18 would be sweet as well.

Interesting topic, I'd say since I've got all of my basis covered for a well rounded knife collection I'd "sprurge" a bit and get a Spyderco Gayle Bladley seeing as I love the CF and CPM-4 combo and absolutely love the looks.

I'd wait for the Spyderco Tuff.

Oh wait... I am waiting for the Tuff right now.

Personally I would get a high end custom made to my specifications and wants. Then I would start looking more into axes (loophole found) ;)

I'd go all out and get a Bruce Bump Vigilante Bowie or any of Tai Goo's presentation pieces. I really love his interpretations of the Thai Enep.

I would say a Fillet knife from Phil Wilson would round things up nicely.

What a difficult choice! I might have to go with the George VECP - The VECP is a special knife and way worth the dealer price then some. It might not be as sexy as other knives but until you get a chance to open and close one, you don't really know what you're missing. And CTS-XHP is a fine blade steel too.

Yup, I just talked myself into the the VECP as the one knife I would take as my only or last knife - weird but probably true. I know a fixed blade is probably the practical choice but I am a folder kind of guy and only have the basics in fixed blades anyway so I'm going with my heart here, VECP FTW.

If money isn’t an option and I can carry it whenever I want regardless of the laws? It would be a Busse Team Gemini with a desert sage blade, tan canvas handles and a custom sheath that I can wear across my back Crocodile Dundee style or under arm like in a shoulder holster. If money is an option and the laws of the land still stand then I will stick with my Gayle Bradley.

Looks like the Gayle Bradley is something special to be chosen twice so far. This verifies my buying of one.

Im going to say CRK Umnumzaan.

But wait I already have one, and no I wouldn't get a second. CRK's don't need a back up.
