The last three bowie knives from my workshop

Hello guys,

I would like to show the last three fighting bowie I made​​.

First the blade W5 and cocobolo handle.

The second blade is forged from W2 and green linen Micarta handle.

The third has a blade from Damascus 270 layers. Steel and W5 L6. Handle a wonderful piece of stabilized maple burl.

Those are three beautiful knives, and that maple is amazing! I thought it was musk ox horn when I first looked at it. :thumbup:
 
I really think you nailed the shape of the handle and material for these blade shapes. The damascus fighter is one of my favorites that I have seen.

I was annoyed I missed that top one when it was for sale. Great lines on it with the sleek blade and that long raised clip. The other two are great two but the first one does it for me.

Tidy knives - keep up the good work!!
 
Three very striking Fighting Bowies.
All very nice in their own way.
I think the canted plunge, double lugged guard with the gorgeous cocobolo handle
and perfectly placed spacer mated to the straight to the point blade first piece appeals to me the most.

Real sleek and all have very nice flow :thumbup:
The couple made from mono steel looks clean and the one made from damascus is sweet :thumbup:

I like all of them. The pattern welded one is my favorite (the last one).
ok - what are the specs on W5? I don't know anything about it.

For a while I was not there and I was surprised by the amount of comments :)

kevin-the professor: If you send me email I can send the data sheet. It is very similar to W2.
