Anyone familiar with this movie? It's a French production so sometimes it's hard to find info unless you use the french name (Le Dernier Trappeur) but it is in English and takes place in the Canadian Yukon.
It's hard to define the genre but it's a blend between live action and documentary, and heavily emphasizes themes like conservation through harvesting, the harsh conditions of the land, and also the quickly disappearing lifestyle, there really are not that many full time trappers anymore.
Lots of cool survival stuff, including a great "emergency fire" scene, won't say any more than that.

Just found the directors next one, also looks pretty relevant.

Ok, so how do i record a YouTube streamed movie to save onto my PC?!?

I missed out on doing that with "Happy People: A Year in the Taiga" when it was initially on YT....

Happy People is still pretty easy to find, try HULU, dailymotion, torrents, etc.
I just downloaded the last trapper from the Pirate bay. ( I did use to own this movie but the DVD was damaged)

As to youtube rips, never did it with a video, just audio for songs. Google should be able to hook you up.
