These are number 21 and 22 representing orders coming directly from Blade this year and there are still 18 and counting non Blade orders on the bench right now. First one is a John White >10" figther with great stag, and the second is a Don Hanson >10" fighter with fabulous Walrus, both headed to their new home in New York tomorrow. I had the great priviledge of handing some really great knives this year after Blade.

All things considered this was a pretty darn good Blade show and aftermath.

Well, enough time off.......back to the bench

Two fine knives and two fantastic sheaths. The speed that you turn out these sheaths is incredible. The faster you get the higher the quality your sheaths seem to also get . That does not make sense but it is the truth. You sir are a remarkable man and a true talent beyond any that I have seen. In laymen's terms you are the man my friend. By the way where's my knife:D

those are two real standout knives from the past few months of sharp metal eye candy.
And your sheaths are outstanding! All those great textures and colours and precision work:thumbup:

THanks for the pics Paul! I got to handle that White piece, but missed the Hanson unfortunately...

Joe, Paul's talent is unbvelievable, no doubt. But at Blade I got a glimpse into at least one piece of the secret of his speed --- the Artisan sewing machine. Paul showed me a small sheath that took him, in his words, "about 17 seconds" to sew! It would have taken at least an hour by hand...

Paul, I'm still lusting after one of those machines. But everytime I try to figure out what combination of knives to sell, I cry a little and chicken out :D

Again, thanks Paul for your willingness to talk and help other leathercrafters improve.

Riad did pretty good for a guy who wasn't at the show. :p Excellent knives and sheaths - congrats my friend.

Very nice Paul.
Extraordinary sheaths fitting for extraordinary knives.

As said, your turn around time is nothing short of amazing. Can't believe I use to wait 5-7 weeks for sheaths.

After seeing photos of your shop, I'm not too surprised as it seems to be a model for efficiency.

Paul just sent me photos of this sheath he did for my Damascus Bowie. That's Java Lizard in the insert!

I've told Paul, and I'll repeat here, the sheaths Paul makes aren't just something expected to go along with a knife. They are art objects in their own right, which elevate the level of the work .

The crusty old rascal's a lot of fun to hang around, too, if you can stand the gaff.

Ditto that.

Aftermath of 10 days...some pretty quick work there Paul. You have paired those awesome fighters with some great leather work. Their new owner will be howling at the moon when they arrive. Thanks for sharing!

Great work, Paul, those look to be about as good as it gets. Love the stag on that White. That's the kind of handle I'd buy even if the maker forgot to put a blade on the knife... :D

Paul, that is some BEAUTIFUL work!

Where in the hell did you go at Blade?? I saw you once and then.... Poof you were gone!

:p...Thanks Paul Those are PERFECT for the Blades
The White was an Order from last year I was hoping to pick up in Person
The DH3..lets just say I put some yellow crayon on the blade when she came out the oven...

Missed you guys ...

Both knives are fantastic. Got to see the Hanson at Blade and it is unreal in person.

Paul's sheaths are perfect for them. Someday I will have a Long for a special knife.

Congrats Riad! Great additions to your collection.
