Just got in the latest and greatest Kumar Karda but it was made by Sanu and I think it is the best we have received to date. Fit, finish, hardness all exceptional. You can see my reflection in the blade while taking the pix.

I can see that Sanu is going to try to collect all the kami of the week excellence awards! This is a real beauty but a fellow had this one on order and paid for so it is gone already.

Sanu did his best and our next door Newari carving boy did a hell of a job on the buffalo horn handle. The reason it looks red is it still has polishing rouge on it.

As you may have noticed we upgraded the bolster on this one and this is how they will all be in the future.

The quality continues to improve in all areas!

Stay tuned.

Hi everyone, just popped in to say hello and nice karda by Sanu!

A question for Uncle Bill, with regard to the jeweller's rouge, what is the best way of removing traces of this from handles as seen above?

I've always used toothpicks, q-tips, and polishing clothes to get rid of excess jewlers rouge that has been pushed in to little crevices. I don't know if this will work on horn, but I don't see why not.
