The latest Barlow to be needlessly modified

So this was an Ideal Barlow that had lots of corrosion, loose cracked scales, and low self esteem. Pics of before were lost with my phone a couple weeks ago. RIP d Moto G! Anyway, I removed the worn scales and cleaned the outer corrosion. It was black and green yuck! Added molded plastic scales with finger grooves near the top and a pocket clip... Blasphemy!

Did you have a before picture? Just out of curiosity, why did you stray from the traditional design?
