Ha! Mint for 135 last night. Pays to stay up to watch bad reruns of SNL. (What was up with the sound booth this past season??? Mic's cut in and out the entire show.)

That HR was $132 up to about 3 hours prior to auction end. SHOCKED it finished that far. There is still a faction of Ebayers that are completely STUPID and get caught up in buying THIS SPECIFIC ITEM at whatever the cost.

You consistently see Ipods go for MORE THAN LIST - PLUS SHIPPING on Ebay. ???? "I don't trust Apple to sell me one directly. I have to pay MORE because it's Ebay!!!!"

So sad. :( Who wants a ltd editon Hell Razor? ;) Come on. Bid it up!

EDIT - Croikey. Closed at 1800 earlier today. I didn't know it was ending today as well.

Yup. The CT I can kinda see getting that price, but the HR is just ridiculous - a whole bunch have sold on here and on eBay lately with almost all in the 135-160 range.

Yeah, I don't think I'm gonna get that one. Someone who needs it a lot more than I do will get it. I asked the guy how the edge was and if it had a sheath. "The edge might need to be touched up, depends on how sharp you want it". I'm guessing its duller than bingo night. Oh yeah, no sheath. But, it's a better price than 300 bones!

I think I'll go with the M7 from the new line up instead.
 
The guy who got the CT and HR at ridiculous prices is now going after a Bandicoot on Ebay as well. On Rat Chat, I think the guy identified himself as a serviceman who is overseas. I don't know what rank he is, but for the $ he is willing to shell out, he ought to be a General. Of course, he may be used to GSA/Pentagon prices too, like $800 for a toilet seat. ;)

I've had my eye on that bandicoot for a few days, but it's quickly getting out of my price range. I wonder if it'll fetch more than the HR. Maybe top $300, that's a hoot for a 'coot. :D
 
She currently sits at 143.50, but given that the high bidder said he doesn't have a lot of access to the Web where he's at, I'm willing to bet he's got a pretty high "max bid" with Ebay, or maybe some snipe site in line to protect his interest. It'll be interesting to watch.

From the looks of it, he has a really high max bid.
 
He got it. 170.50 shipped. I put in a couple of bids during the last few seconds, but his max bid beat me. No biggie, that's about the limit of what I thought the knife was worth. I do wonder what his max was though.
