Thats a nice looking knife...

I just realized that the first year for the 110, was the same year I was born

I'm sure I've read it before, but it didn't click... Not that its a big surprise

Mike, 1961 is not the first year of the 110 that was 1965 . What this model commerates is the company 'Buck Knives' as they incorporated in April 1961, sold stock and took the company to a new level . The only models they had at that time was the 100 series fixed blades . DM

Thanks David. Once again my minimal Buck knowledge shows through :o

Wolfdog, what number do you have??? I think the etching is really nice these... ITE ...

Mine is 929. It is a beautiful knife, a nice mirror finish and nice Macassar Ebony scales, too. :)

The steel must be 425M, is that right?

At 2500 there must still be a number of them out there, though it's now 25 years later. I wonder how many became users?

Mine looks like it was made yesterday. :)
