The saw on my Vic Spirit made some quick pruning adjustments while putting up the Christmas tree last night.

used the cadet tonight to trim some garland while putting the rest of the christmas lights up. also changed the batteries on the door wreath lights.

i'm finding the little cadet to be a very useful pocket tool. my leatherman juice has been riding in the laptop bag and not on in the belt sheath lately.

used my serrated highlander to help out our handiman while was doing some work around the house.

It cut clear plastic tubing for a plumbing problem. I ran him over to Home Depot and we couldnt get anyone to help us cut the tubing for us and so i got impatient and cut it to size myself.

Then used it to cut off/trim weather stripping for the door.

And then i used the awl to punch a hole through a plastic electrical box so he could fit the screw through and screw it into the ceiling.

I found it very strange that the handyman didnt have a knife or multitool of his own, but I was a little handyman apprentice today hehe

Once, after using my Swiss Army Knife to effect a quick repair for a friend, I asked why he didn't carry one himself. He replied there was always someone around with a SAK when you need it.

Well, I could hardly argue. There I was. :D

My multitools had a quiet day today. The Cadet opened the mail and the Micra cut a piece of cord.

The Toolzall opened some canned veggies and took the return air vents down. Its a good tool.

My Skeletool opened a couple of beers and fetched my keys for me (I dropped them behind the dresser and my clumsy hands wouldn't reach)

on the way back from a trip the wife and i made this weekend, i managed to rip part of my right middle finger nail off. the classic sd (mentioned above) helped trim the nail and file off the burr.
