Well we are well on the way to recovery after Hurricane Wilma in S. Florida. The power is back on in "most" places and the telephones work "mostly". :) We are still working on 12 hour shifts due to their being almost no street lights left hanging, but we are definitely on our way to recovery. And just when things looked like to could not be going any better I got my HT from Skunk first thing this morning when they resumed mail delivery.

Thanks again for all the prayers and kind words.

Stay strong and No Regrets

Glad to hear things are starting back up. I think I really take electricity and running/hot water for granted. That would truely suck to go with out it for a while. Well I guess it would make me stronger in a way, that wouldn't be a bad thing.

And they keep saying next year is going to be worse, so hey Jerry, how about a Busse Chain Saw. ;) That would be some serious motor driven madness.:D

And you could make it duel fuel gas or scotch so that there would always be something on hand.

Glad to see that you can see ya again, man.

Okay...that made sense in my head.

:D

Glad everything is starting to come back together for everyone. Be strong. Our prayers are still with everyone recovering from this season's storms.

Glad that you made it through and the lights are coming back on. Be sure to check back in when you are able

:D:D

Hey Cleaner, I'm with you on the chainsaw. At least the infi blade. The dual fuel? ..... ? I think I'd save my scotch to fuel ME. LOL

Got a feeling you are going to be doing 12 hr shifts for a bit. From my house in S Broward to my work by Opa Locka airport only a few lights to restore power to. Most are 'gone with the wind'. I think it will be a bit before everything can be replaced even with power.

Now I'm reading that Wilma may have been a CAT3, which seems to be more in line with the damage I'm seeing. A CAT 1 or 2 just doesn't act like this, especially over so large an area.
