I just received my Kumar Karda and JKM from the UBBB this week. Btw Uncle Bill and Yangdu, that was some super fast shipping! Thanks again.
Half price, less than $60 for 2 knives- all for some minimal rust on the KK and shrunken horn on the JKM. Tonight the steel wool and hooflex will come out, and I'll fix them up.
I regret not getting these "lil knives" sooner. They are of course very well made and a very useful size. The KK will made a good field knife, and the JKM can be an EDC pocket knife, with that handy puuko style sheath. They both with working sharp edges. This is my first knife (the KK) by 'Amtrak,' and I must say he does fine work. The JKM by Kumar is a fine example of his excellent work.
I can't wait to use these this fall on hikes. I'll put some photos up tonight.
Now I just need a Pen Knife to round it out :)

It is funny when a Kumar Karda is called a lil knife. Mine replaced my Camillus Marine Combat knife. Which is considered a big knife by many people.

Not just the Penknife: Don't forget the Bilton, the 10" BDC, the 12" AK and Sirupate, the 13" Balance. ;)

while you're at it...through in a 14" BDC - a lil' knife that chops like a big one.

I got me both BDC's, that's my favorite new design. I have a Sgt. Karka Bilton Kothimoda, it's almost too nice to use!
You're right, Bobwhite- the Kumar Karda is only little by HI standards.
