As I have read the other thread I was wondering what the limit is on custom work. I've read you can have your knife bead blasted, different grind ,ect. Whats the limit though? Serrated knife to plain edge? Different scales?

Stabbers right, how much money and patience do you have?

It also depends on exactly what you consider "custom" are you planning on ordering a knife to your specs from the shop? If you are, plan on spending some bucks and waiting. (up to several years in some cases)

If you currently have a knife and you want a little work done on it you are pretty limited to what can actually be done. If this is what you are planning to do, I think it pretty much is limited to bead blasting and maybe new handles.

Best to call the shop and see what can be done.

What are you thinking of buying or having done?

Hmm that explains more. I'd like an ARK bead blasted. Not really a problem but I don't have much use for the serrations, but as I look at them. To put a new edge on it would be a large pain in the ass if they would do it, and serrations were put on this knife for a reason. I think jus bead blasted would do it. I'll find a plain edge small busse user else where.
