You all remember Jake (supratentorial) 3000 posts GA, the winner actually had to pick the one who'll get the fantastic knife Jake had offered as GA. Well, the firs time I won anything ever was to pick the winner  BUT there was a little something to the winner ... well this LITTLE something has arrived couple of days ago. I'll say that although Jake sent me a photo, I was very surprised when it arrived.
Now I let the pics speak

This is fantastic Henry Sears and Son knife with great jigged bone, impressive shield everything is tight and scary sharp. The size is perfect for me 3 5/8". I tried it at home and around the garden and it just did great. THANK YOU Jake, you made me very happy man :)

Spectacular!! I think it fits you tastes splendidly Mike. That's the best little something I have ever seen!

I think that's Jake's favorite shield too..fitting.

Good looking moose there. I like everything about it. The jig pattern is just something not found on modern knives.

Mike, I'm happy that the knife arrived safely and that you're enjoying it. :) I picked the knife based on the name drawn and I thought this one might be of interest to you. It'll bring you good luck too. ;)

It's a "bull-head" or "equal-end double-end jack" which is a "cattle knife-type double-end jack". The second blade is more commonly a large spey or a small blade but it can also be a second large clip blade. I'm a big fan of cattle and stock knives and their variations and whittlers. Thank you for the kind words guys. I wish I had more knives for each of you.

What differentiates a double-end Jack from a Pen?

A pen is a smaller. The Henry Sears & Son bull-head uses the same handle die as a cattle knife. ...btw, a "bull-head" is commonly mistaken for a "moose", which is a "stock knife-type double-end jack" rather than a "cattle knife-type double-end jack"
