hello hogs,

i don't post much here anymore, but i still check in regularly, and consider many of you folks my friends.

one of our forum brothers, 3Guardsmen, passed on 12-28-10. he wasn't a hog, in fact never posted once here, and i only knew him through the forums.
still, i considered him one of my friends.

i always figured i would try and look him up when i was in the bay area.

and he had the best forum handle, imo:

My avatar picture is of the Three Guardsmen, the guys who personified Law Enforcement in the Wild West!

so, why post this here? i don't really know, just sad i guess.

his best friend joined today to let us know of his passing. click on his name in my sig line to post in the thread.

take care hogs, especially of each other.

Thanks for posting this. For me the value of friendship becomes more important as time passes and I get older. Your post is demonstrative of the importance of friendship, whether best of friends or an acquaintance we can all have an impact in someones life as 3Gaurdsmen has had for you.

I'm sad to hear that he has passed on, I will keep him in my memories. :(

It is always hard to lose someone we feel a connection to; like part of use has been taken away. Please accept my empathy on your loss, and know that I am here for you should you need to talk!

I'm truely sorry for your loss brother and may god be with him, and his handle was an awesome one at that. May he rest in peace.

Sad, so sad to hear. But thank you.:(

It's a little like the military brotherhood -- we try to follow one another, help one another out (even if only emotionally), pull together as we grow grayer. But that particular brotherhood has already begun to get smaller. Every day.:(

3G had class. A real gentleman -- he is missed.

[Good to see Morimotom posting here, anyway.]

I appreciate the info Mark, especially the sentiment behind it

Mark,

3Guardsmen was a big fan of INFI and I'm sorry to hear about his passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.

Sorry to hear about 3Guardsmen, Mark...and I'm sorry for your loss... :(
My heartfelt condolences goes out to his family, to you, and to all of his friends.

This is a big loss, both for Bladeforums, and I'm sure it's even bigger for the rest of the world.
He will be sorely missed.

If any family read this thread, my condolences and prayers for you and yours in this time of mourning.
