Many of you remember the give away that Sturzi held a while back, with the SAK and the 2011 Forum knife. I was the fortunate winner of the Forum knife, much to my surprise.

Well, today a package from a distant place arrived! I felt like a 6 year old on Christmas morning!

Included in the box were 3 items. A nice note, the aforementioned knife with a shaving sharp edge, and an Olive Wood Tube Popper! Talk about winning the Lottery! I can't thank you enough, Sturzi, for this generous give away. You are truly one of the many class acts on this little portion of the internet.

I only had time for a quick pic, as rain is threatening.

congratulations in your new toys. I love the grain of that tube popper. it's ironic; I have an easier time opening up a bear-trap snap #73 than I do a GEC tube.

Sturzi is an awesome woodworker so I wouldn't expect a edge from him that isn't less than perfect :-) enjoy your knife, and thanks for your generosity Sturzi. that knife is a true beaut embodying the blade forum spirit

That tube popper (partially) won me Charlie's giveaway and was just gathering dust since :D
 
oh yeah - that package made its way around half the globe, that´s for sure. A great knife you got there.

Thanks y'all, I am quite thrilled to finally get one of these. My wife took one look at it and said it looked pretty enough to be an heirloom.

I told her it will be.
