Okay...so I have always enjoyed medium to large sized blades..with the exception of my bk11 whose bottle opener gives it a "pass". I always glanced at the Tweeners from afar but decided on a bk5 which my wife promptly stole and put in her p/t chef kit never to be seen again by me. Shes a fulltime cop so I couldnt tell on her, although I did think about it lol. Then came the "Urban Survival Contest"..and I entered and happened to win. I didnt hesitate and chose a bk15..it is the next best thing to a bk5..right? Well after holding it for 3 minutes and 47 seconds...HELL YEAH it is ! I could not believe how well it fit my hand as well as how light and agile it feels. I admit when Iam wrong and I must admit that I really should have taken a closer look at the Tweeners before dismissing them. Thank you much Uncle E and Moose for the contest, now...enough rambling...PICS !

Thanks guys. Yes Oregon, Pappa E hooked me up lol. I already have a patch on the od jacket I just bought the other day. Iam really amazed at how this knife feels in the hand..so Im gonna put it down because I just had a premonition of being bit :eek:
 
Congrats EV. I got a BK15 this week as well, and I'm in love! Awesome blade.

The 16 has been at the top of my Beckers To Buy list for some time now.
This is a fantastic knife. There is not much I can say about it that hasn't already been said.
I absolutely love it!
The size, the fit...perfect. Came shaving sharp out of the box.

I'd like to give a huge thanks to Ethan and Moose!
I'm very honored to be included with the other two winners of the challenge.
This 16 is going to get alot of use!

Thanks again guys and congrats also to Jonny1280, nice choice with the 16...I see right now that Im gonna end up with a 16 and a 17 eventually. I will not ever doubt a Tweener again ! As for my dog..thanks for the compliments tylerxp and tincan, his name is Deebo The Great..long story lol.
 
I got mine in yesterday as well, although I think the boss mighta got a little mixed up as I ended up with a BK15 instead of a 16. No worries though, will either give this one to the missus or trade it out when I get up there in October. Thanks for the knife though Uncle Weirdbeard! Was a fun contest to do.
