The JK/DBH! This is the design mqqn sent me, the JK Defensive Battle Hawk. Photos to follow, I hope you all enjoy following along in the making of this awesome design!

Here is the original cutout Andy sent me. As we progress, you will see the slight changes we made in the final design.

Interesting design. It's a weapon from three different sides.
It's a bit long though, no? If you're doing 14 inchers now I'll need to redesign my new big knife.

I do 14" max knives now, did a Kephart awhile back.

This shows the new design cutout with the original.

This takes a serious chunk of steel, 6" x 1/4" x 18".

Traced onto the steel.

There are some pretty cool choppers coming from the JK shop lately.

 That is...wow...scary!

Looks like that spike on top would have been awkward to grind, and yet all the grinds look SO clean. Truly impressive!

Hi John -

That's a lotta holes! Super-skeletonized.

I hope you didn't get too bored.

I never get bored when I`m out in the shop, it`s my "happy place." Taking today off to spend it with "The Boss." It`s her day off, so we are doing a "one tank road trip." It`s been a while.
