Just go in a xm-18 3" today. Exactly like my XM-3.5" Stonewash and smooth carbon fiber....both flippers......had a little gin and flipping and trying not cut myself. Amazeing how small the 3 is compared to the 3.5.....just a half inch but seem smaller. Love both of them. Hope to get a picture of them with my Kimber and R-25. Hope to get some pictures to send tomorrow. Can you pass me a beer?

i also have a 3" flipper. ive owned a 3.5" and its crazy cause there is quite a difference between the two. i like the weight of the blade on the 3.5, makes flipping it a lot of fun.

Hey, anyone want to go bird hunting? Zoee and I are taking off for Ritzville to find some quail, pheasants or Huns, we really do not care. Going to be about 20 deg. so dress warm. Would love some snow to hunt in but, looks like it will be sunny and cold. Load up.

I know what you mean, I did not expect such a difference. I just got the 3" yesterday so I will carry it for a while and see. If I had to say right now I like the
3.5" better but damn they are both nice and look great together. Maybe have some time for pictures after hunting.

What kind of.cigar? I've.been.on a I obsedian kick lately. Vegas maduro gold.is pretty sweet.

Had an Ashton aged Maduro. Tonite is an Acid Maduro:D

Want to get a 3" when available, think that would be a great EDC size. That I will get a slicer non-flipper I think. Beer is chillin'.

Saturday night in the Shop. Buddy bringing his XM18 3.5 over to sharpen on the Wicked Edge (This will be my first) not knife but, XM.
Gonna Blue Tape his blade spine, don't wann mark a buddies knife. Gonna talk him out of a reprofile not because I think it would take 4 hours  but I'd like to see him keep the shallow (strong) edge. Thoughts?

Birdhunter! Can you please email me tinycrumb [at] me.com!? I have a question regarding your XM. Would love to chat with you.

And to answer the question at hand, yes, I'd love to go Birdhunting :) I live in Oregon but my in-laws have a Cabin in Spirit Lake, ID just east of Spokane so I'm in that general area a lot.
