Today is another sad day, Johnny Cash is no longer with us...He was a big influence on many people and he will be missed. I know that I enjoyed his music and I am sure many of you also have memories that may be attached to some of his songs...

Also in case anyone did not know, 'The Mechanic' Mr. Charles Bronson also died a few weeks ago...

Both of these guys were men among men...I know I have many memories and of each of these men and how their music and movies touched and inspired my life...

Mr. Cash and Mr. Bronson you both had been the underdogs of your careers but each had GREAT followings...Thank you for your talents...

Truely a sad day.

Both will be missed.

It is hard to narrow down a favorite from either of them.

:(

It hurts to lose your icons. I was sick for a week when Johne Wayne passed. As a boy I sat for hours watching these legends & tired to be just like them. God speed, you will be remembered with a smile.

Johnny Cash was there before Elvis and, against all odds was there after him. He played it all, Country, Rock, Blues and Spiritual, he will be missed but maybe he's with his wife he lost earlier. Thank you Johnny and keep on rollin'.

To the man in black...........RIP you will be greatly missed as your music has touched everyone in my family.

As I sit here and think about it, the three guys who ruled country music for so long Johnny Cash,Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson, only Willie is left............The Highway Men.

I remember watching Johnny Cash on Larry King live last year and he said Looseing his great friend Waylon hurt so bad,Now he and Waylon can strum there guitars together again.

My wife told me Johnny Cash died this morning and I was just shocked. It just made me so sad. Me and my Dad listen to his music a lot when we get to spend time together (which is rare these days)... a favorite of ours is "one piece at a time" - a great and funny tune. Mr. Cash was simply a living legend. It hurts like hell to hear he passed away. :(
