Yeah...I got mine today too John. Was looking at that Duke but I only collect 110/2. I only collect 110/2. I only collect 110/2.
For some reason, I can't get past that opening newsletter page

Goose,

Lets see......Ok...how should I convince Marvin?????.....Ok...here goes......Goose I think you should have at least one Duke in your herd....you know to keep the others in line "pilgrim". This Duke is very unique and would be a grate addition to any Buck knife accumulation. At this price you can't pass it up. Come on and join me brother.....so we can compare pic's and see who gets the best looking one!!!!! ;) :D

My newsletter is sitting in a canvas bag in the hold of an airfreighter parked on the tarmac of a snowed-in airfield somewhere in the Midwest... :(

Although now that I think of it, Buckcustom did remind me that my membership had expired but he never emailed me to say that he had gotten my check...

Goose!!! Order two!!! I'm good for it!!! ;)

I have nothing to read today...

On a brighter note Chuck B. is coming to sign knives and visit with "Buck nuts" on March 24th!!!!!!!!!! Only about a 20 mile drive for me, I can't wait!
Hopefully my newsletter arrives by then :D

Lemme tell ya about the *strange* people around here...I'm driving back to the office yesterday; about four inches of snow, but the sun is out and it's up to 56*F...and there's this guy out wearing a shortsleeve shirt, Bermuda shorts, and flip-flops...and he's shoveling snow out of his driveway...

LOL....He just moved there from CA......I bet he still has the surf board in the back seat of his car :p .

Ah! My BCCI newsletter/Catalog arrived today!...bundled with my IRS refund check... :(

It's sad because I have a pile of bills as tall as Goose to pay before I buy anything... :grumpy: Don't even have time to read the Newsletter...Need to get the bills in the mail before the MailGirl gets here... :grumpy:

BOA charges me $35 for a late payment

Well, my copy of the March newsletter finally arrived.....right under a nice 1982 Buck 124 with Micarta scales, never used in the box. This is one sweet knife. First thing I noticed is how much larger the handle is when compared to the newer ones. (pictures later this week) I'm really excited after reading the newsletter and learning that the Blade show will be having a West coast version later this year in Portland, Oregon. I am marking the calendar now!
