Hi,
The retention plug work perfectly for a longer knife like the RC3.
Once used the knife disappears in my pocket and thanks to the wide sheath, it's stay relatively vertical.
Again this DIY "system" is great to keep the mouth of the sheath in "up position" to resheath your knife with one hand.
You can notice the wear of my pocket due to much G10 folder clipped there (and G10 is really abrasive even after some sandpaper work) at least carrying a FB in your pocket has eliminated the pocket wear !
