I met Michael at Blade this year and fell in love with his Velox flipper. With an almost 4 inch long blade, I wanted a tip down version for back pocket carry and Michael was more than happy to oblige.

This thing is freaking AMAZING. There are so many nice touches from the low profile flipper to the recessed deep carry pocket clip to the mill work on the flipper to the jeweling on the liners.

Moonglow backspacer
Ti liners

Okay, enough of my rambling, on to some pics!

That is one sweet looking knife! How does it flip with the lo pro flipper?

Amazing. It uses the Atomik bearing system which if I understand correctly is very close to the GTC system. I am a 'push through' guy so I love the lo pro flipper because I feel it really reinforces that motion but pulling back on the front of the flipper also works really well.

Congratulations!
The Velox is an amazing folder. I love the small flipper tab that is unobtrusive in your pocket and disappears when opened. The blade flies out like it weights nothing.

Here's mine.

It really is an impressive folder, especially for the price.

I like that ours have slightly different blade grinds.

Testament on the awesomeness of the lo pro flipper.

I showed a complete non knife person the knife, gave him a quick demo of the flipper and handed it to him. He fired it on the very first try. I have never gotten someone to fire a flipper properly on the very first try. The design is just so ingenious and basically forces you to open it the correct way.
