I'm quite excited bout' this one. It should make a great gentlemens/office carry/ sheeple friendly utility knife. In the olden days we had the Big Dyad *sigh but this might do quite well in its stead..... Are any of you looking forward to this as much as I am?

Not really. I carry a C39 Micarta Dyad, Jr. and find it on the small side of useful for a lot of my needs. I would rather see one between the C39 and the C44. Say around Delica size. The Micro Dyad looks cool, but I already have too many knives that look cool but don't get used.

Yes!
Given the fact that the previous versions are hard to find or are getting too expensive it will be nice to have one at it's original "street price"
It is gonna be small though, by my calculations, Ladybug size!
Maybe Miss Taz can give us an update on when we maybe, sorta can expect it?
Before Santa or After Santa?

I definately am. This has been the only knife that I truly can't wait to get my hands on. I use the small spydies an a daily basis, and I can't get enough of them.

Yablanowitz,
Unforetunately I wasn't collecting in the era of the lengendary C-44.... so this will be my next best option....

Uhhh...

I got my C39 and C44 this year, on Ebay. The Micarta C39 was in a lot of three knives that I gave about $50 for. The C44 I picked off for about $150.

It takes some patience and luck, but it can be done. On the other hand, I am NOT a collector, I carry both of these knives, and I bought them to use, so the small one being used didn't bother me at all. As for the C44, well...rejoice, collectors, for there is one less unused Dyad in the world!:D

Thanks,

I'll take a look on Ebay cuz' if I can find one I'll be set for life....collecting wise... and utility wise...
