I was very fortunate to have been drawn as the winner of majigy's "New Year's Giveaway". What a generous thing to do and today I got a much anticipated box in the mail. I took a few pics at work with a point & shoot so they are not deserving but I wanted to show off this knife! Just handling it for a couple hours and I can tell that these USA made knives are absolutely high end knives. It's big, smooth, light & the tolerances and lockup are a thing of beauty. The floating lock-bar is outrageous and the bearing system makes deployment the smoothest and fastest I've handled. Gonna be my new "walking in the dark" knife for a while. I am normally a sub 3" and traditional slipjoint guy, but sometimes you need a monster. :)

Yes sir, the Socom Elite is one of my absolute favorite folders. And Majigy is one heck of a nice guy to give one away! It's things like that that make this the best community on the web.

You won one of my favorite defensive folders. Btw, on mine the pivot tended to come loose and since I didn't own the triangle bit for the screw I just used a small dab of light loc-tite and my fingers to fix that issue.
