Wow ...

I came over to make the official launch announcement for the new snodyknives.com website and I see that it was already handled for me. Thank you! We really appreciate it! It was launched at 6:00AM this morning ...

Mike's site marks number 4566 on our host system and was a real pleasure to create and design. I'd like to personally thank one of our premier custom knife host clients, Mr. Les Robertson, for referring this project to us here at AV.

Mike Snody represents the level of high performance that we like to be associated within the custom knife industry on the web. Mike is exactly what we stand for ...

Stay tuned ... we'll be introducing another major custom knife web announcement very soon. We have a project in current development that should be ready to go shortly. This one will be for all of us ...

Hope you all enjoy Mike's site ... shoot him a letter and tell him what you think. I know he would appreciate your input.

Mike's new website is perfect. It gives useful information in a wonderful, easy to use format. The only down side is that Mike doesn't have any knives available for purchase at the moment. Actually, that's an up side when you are low on funds. Of course www.tripleaughtdesign.com always has some of his blades available.
I really enjoyed the knife gallery section on the website. It allows us to view all of Mike's current knives. Unfortunately, when you can view all of his knives it just makes you want more, more, more! I love my Snody bushido. Now I want to purchase an Overlord, Narita, Damascus Bushido, and another Bushido Fighter made from a steel other than A2. I know where some of my extra money will be going this year. (If I have any.) Customs knives have become an addiction for me since I discovered Mike's Japanese style blades.
I definitely appreciate a good knife website with custom Japanese style tactical blades. Mike's knives are top knotch!

What a great site, think I'm going to contact Mike to order another knife. I think this site will be great for Getting Mike's knives known by more people. The problem with that is having to wait longer for one of Mikes knives. Oh well, if anybody I know deserves to be successful more than Mike I can't think who that person would be.

you know what I think is the most INSANE thing? According to the record Snody started making (learnign maybe? to make knives around 1999, that's ONE YEAR usualy people take 10 years to get this good. Prior experience as a steel worker or not this isa damn GIFT. You rule sir.

I think this is a good time to buy Snody knives while they are still affordable. I know that my next knife is gonna be Warchild, what a great design! By the way, Mr. Snody, is it possible to get one with a shorter blade? Alex.

Gentlemen,
Thanks for the feedback. I have received quite a few hits on the new site thanks in no small part to this thread. Alex, the Warchild can be ordered with any blade length you prefer. Sniperboy have you destroyed the test blade yet? Bimmer, thanks for getting the word out on the website. Watch for the Battlezone it should be up on the site real soon.

OK, call me crazy, but the first link I went to on Mr. Snody's site was Boxers n Pits. I think the dogs just sold me on his knives! Any knifemaker that has that kind of content on his site HAS to have my money. Can't do it immediately, but Mr. Snody, you're on my A-list!

Howdy,I own a Snoody kwaiken,Top notch stuff
at a great price!Great quality at a great Price it really cant be beat!!!

this BATTLEZONE you speak of.. if it is along the lines of hte warchild then I am ready with my bucket. RockSpyder I agree with you thie pits and bulls page on Snody's site really adds a lot of depth to the maker I think.

Rageards to the test blade mR. Snody, I've bene using it and it's tough and still sharp.. 3v is a really stubborn material and I am tempted to just go in tte woods and just cut up trees until I break it =p. overall I woudl liek to say it has stood up well.. I shoudl try to pry somehting with it.. when it is destroyed I will post but so far it's great..

to those who want to know this is a karma kozuka in 3v the thin hollow groundis really sharp coupled with the tough 3v I can't really dull it that easy, what more destroy it.

Definately time to buy. I have a Bushido and Suriage and just ordered a Warchild ( 2nd to be made ) and a Narita. Plus am getting one of the next overlords from Patrick @ TAD. That makes 5 but think i need to complete the japanese style the Mike makes so beautifully. Mike i might have to add to the order.

I just got information from a very reliable source that Michael Janich, the designer of the Ronin that Mike will have ready in the next week or two, will be designing another knife for Mike. If the info that I received is correct, it will be a large combat knife with a mix of both Japanese and Western styles.
I think this will be another great knife from Mike, if the rumors are true. Maybe Mike can confirm whether what I have been told is true or not. If so maybe we can find out more about this exciting new knife.

Keith.
