I acquired my first Mistress just a couple of months ago. She's a beautiful Mistress, modded by norcalblacktail and D-guarded (is that even a word?) by me. I had great plans to bushwhack and generally beat my way through the Great Smoky Mountains with her, but she's just too pretty.
Then I made the mistake of calling the custom shop. I talked to Garth, who answered every question I could ask and provided logical (and patient) answers to all of them, even the dumb ones. I ended up ordering a NMFBM, sage blade with tan micarta scales. Today it arrived. I expected it to be a little bit larger than the Bushwhacker, but this thing is freaking awesome. The thickness and the length of this knife are just unbelievable. I feel like I could cut down a redwood with this thing. Luckily we don't have those in Tennessee, I don't think anyone would appreciate me hacking at an ancient redwood with a knife.
