I know that most of you fully realize that Chris Reeve knives are awesome. I got a Mnandi early this week and it is not exeption. Fit and finish are as close to perfect as can be. I may do a full review after I have a little more time to actually use it.

For now though, I just wanted to sing the praises for its pocket clip. This is something that I had not seen brought up in the past, and it seems worthy of its own thread. The titanium clip is styled to look like the clip on a pen, and it really did surprise me how cool it was. It was not something I was aware of and at this point is one of my favorite things about the knife. It really does go to show how much time and effort CRK puts into the design of their knives. Icluded below are a couple of pics, one with a pen to show the scale of the knife, and one of it clipped in my front shirt pocket. The shirt made of relatively thin ryon.

Thumbs up to CRK on this one!

Best clip design I have seen on any knife. (and I am not a fan of clips.)

Since I made this tread specifically about the pocket clip, I suppose I should put in a couple close up shots showing it a little better.

Here you go:

Don't forget, when you take the clip off the knife still has a clean look to it. ;).

Quite true. One of the few knives that, when you take the clip off, doesn't have extra holes in the handle or extra screws left in the hadle that serve no purpose.

Interesting coincidence. I just yesterday evening put the clip back onto my Mnandi and today carried it in my shirt pocket vice loose in my change pocket. I found it to be great way to carry it too!

I think all EDC knives should have clips like Mnandi has, or otherwise discreet ones. I find it a pain when half of the knife shows from your pocket when carrying it. The best I have now is the clip on BM Mini-Pika. Very fine and black clip, fit to ride very low in the pocket. Very few ever notices it. Still, it ain't better than the Mnandi-clip, which just shows great desing from CRK. Maybe one day I'll have one riding in my shirt pocket.

Those mnandi clips are also MACHINED out of a piece of titanium rather than stamped. They are both beautifully designed and as well as beautifully crafted. CRK really is amazing at what they do!!

Everything Chris Reeve does is of the best quality. I have a Mnandi and a couple of Sebenzas. I carry the Mnandi with slacks and the Sebenzas with Levis and more casual wear. I don't have any of his fixed blades but I can only imagine they are made to the same standards.

You really cannot go wrong with a Chris Reeve knife. And if you do, they'll make it good.
