One of these are not like the other. One of these things just doesn't belong.

Now that you've got that stuck in your head...voilà, I had a set of old BM thumb studs laying around, someones failed attempt at drilling hardened M390 & a HAAS so...

Tried to get the studs out of the slicing path & still have it centered in the finger choil/groove area for deployment. Not bad.

No more flipper tab.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if it would make a good deployment method, but the geometry lined up & it works really well. There's even enough room on the lock side to spydie/middle finger flick it.

Looks great. May I ask how you drilled the hole? My method (or best attempts) have been a struggle at best despite success. I’d appreciate your experience!

Decided to chuck it in my Haas milling machine. HSS center drill didn't work, but a 0.125" BN end mill made short work if it.
