When you maybe felt proud of your knife? Maybe doing something it wasn't intended to do. Tell your stories!

I have a good one. I'm from Michigan (Yankee ) fell in love and had a baby with girl from Virginia. I decided to move there and her dad and grandpa decided they needed to "teach" me knives quickly. My girl knows I'm a knife nut. Guess she didn't mention it to them... There showing me knives I guess trying to scare me. I drop my knives on the table because she did tell me. :). Anyway long story short my ZT 0560 now has tasted 5 samples of DNA. I keep it scary sharp! Even bit my dad who was a chef in his younger years and has many expensive knives.

That happened a year ago. Reason why I mention is caused it happened again today. I'm a drywaller by trade. We go though blades fast. Gypsum is a form of rock.. Not easy to cut. Anyway I took a brand new drywall blade and tried to cut open a new tape measure. Again BRAND NEW. There made to score drywall. Couldn't cut it. Flipped my ZT 0560 and sliced through it like it was butter. Week later 2 more of my guys have em. which I guess is a good thing cause I just read there gonna stop making them? NO!!

Anyway tell your story

I've posted it before in a similar thread but my Lionsteel T16 technically saved some dudes life. I was out shopping when I saw people standing still watching something.
I looked what was going on and it turned out some dude publically tried to hang himself with the cord from his sweatpants. he was already hanging by the neck from a metal fence. I ran over there and slashed the cord with my Lionsteel. I remember slashing so hard I didn't really feel the cord but I did feel the edge hitting that metal fence. It chipped the edge pretty bad. Another bystander came and we controlled the guy until police arrived. It was pretty much the most special cut any of my knives ever made ;)
