I got my Fortis B-42 Pilot Chronograph this morning via FedEx. Awesome! Not a Panerai, but this watch is huge! Some pics:

I took off the leather strap and put an Omega SMP rubber strap with deployant clasp on it.

Very, very nice, Greg. The new band looks great, too, really enhances the watch while being practical(meaning the deployant). Like we said before, Fortis is an underappreciated brand.

I only own two Fortis brand watches at the present time. As soon as I set additional funds aside, I too shall own a watch similar to yours.

Fortis has really impressed me with their quality and pricepoint. They don't have a name like Omega or Rolex but, are watches of the same caliber as best I can tell with a little more "Pilot" induced design features and flair.

A very good watch that should serve you well for a very long time. Be sure to follow up after you have owned and worn it for a while and tell us about it then.
