Well, I was right. The Manix 2 I ordered was in the mailbox today, making four Spyderco knives in one month! Next month will be nice I'm sure but I picked up 4 of the most popular models this month. All of this was decided by reading threads, asking questions, and handling as many Spyderco models as I could. It's a good start, I had never held a Spyderco before and if I had found what I was looking for I might not have went with Spyderco. All it took was handling one and I was hooked. I've never had knives that felt as good in my hand as these four folders. Next month will be more reserved, I'll expand my collection but I might not get as many. I've started looking at Sprints and discontinued blades like the SuperHawk and SuperLeaf.

Here's a couple pics of my January 2015 acquisitions:

February is almost here, I'm already searching and pricing for my next Spyderco knives! Thanks for all the help and patience!

You need a Military for sure. And a Sage, Techno, Stretch, and maybe an Endura. And if you like the ergonomics of the Manix you should definitely look into a Domino. You definitely have a good start to a good collection. If you want to try something serrated you should check out the Salt series...the SE Dragonfly Salt or SE Ladybug Salt are probably the two easiest segways into the SE Salt series. Welcome to the addiction lol.

You also have to get a Native5 that is what got me started,it kicked all my benchmades out of my pocket.

I got 3 this month, a orange delica, orange dragonfly and a yellow SE H1 dragonfly.

Very nice start.

I don't see a Yoyimbo or P'Kal though?

The P'kal just isn't my kind of thing, it's just not the way my knives are used or useful to me. The Yojimbo2 is on my list, I've refrained from mentioning it because I want people to forget about it so I can get one! The Compression Lock is a favorite of mine now for sure, it was one of the reasons I even looked at it. Another one I like but has been discontinued is the Chinook Series. I just wish I would have found Spyderco sooner!

I will probably do a little write up/comparison of the 4 Spydies. The differences, likes, dislikes(few if any), and which I like best so far.
