I have been using my Dremel to polish up some knives and it was working well but I went through a whole container of felt polishers after finishing a few knives so I went out to spend my gift card at Walmart and I picked up a new polishing kit, got it home, and found out what the grey ones were. They're like regular polishing heads but thry have the polishing compound built in to the felt. I didn't know they had those! I hope they work good.

I'd be lost without my Dremel. I work on bicycles, make cigar-box instruments...The thing is invaluable.
I'll have to look for those polishing discs.

If they're the hard gray ones be carfeul those can actually grind metal away.

No, my metal polishing kit came with gray grinding wheels. They were solid. They polish smooth but they can cut metal.

Yeah I got those too. The ones I'm talking about are hard felt cylinders that come with a built in mandrill. It says they have the polish already in them so you don't need to use that red polishing compound that comes with all of the polishing kits.
