The most beautiful knife

But, no, really, an actual reply:

Out of all production/Mid-Tech knives, what has struck me the most is a raindrop damascus Sebenza. I saw one in this video:

At the 6:58 mark. It caught me completely off guard. Even in a low-quality youtube video I was watching on my phone, it blew my damn mind how beautiful it was. It's one of those knives I would never use, but it might be the only knife I would buy just to look at.

I don't collect knives for the sake of just looking at them - I like to use them. That one, though...

Sorry, but i have 3.
My 1940-1964 Case 6231 1/2 Heavy Jack in jigged red bone.
Bob Dozier Custom KS7 Wilderness in CF + D2.
And, of course, my custom slipjoint from Todd Davison...#886 single blade wharnie with box elder burl.

My user CRK Large Sebenza 21 and user Galyean Pro Series Small JYD are the most beautiful in my eyes.

^^ I would do anything for either of my knives.

Though a grail is probably the Strider SNG Z-Wear, Lego, Black Oxide 3/4 Grind. Should be here sometime this week lol.

A beautiful knife is one that's seen its fair share of hard work.

I agree that a knife is a tool and should be used but there is difference between a workhorse like the first reply and a thing of beauty like in the third reply and i believe the damascus sebenza is prettier than the knife of the first reply

It's too hard to choose. Look at the "Bladeforums Best Bowie" contests and you'll see plenty favorites of mine. :D

It's not a knife, but I've always thought the Albion Brescia Spadona was exquisite.

only seen on de webz, but I would say Buster Warenski's scimitar (I hope Coop doesn't mind, this photo is pretty much everywhere):

followed in 2nd place by Al Mar's MACV-SOG in stacked leather:

and back to reality, pretty much any blade I have on me at any moment; if I bought it it means I like it, right?

Small CF Sebenza 21(not a knife that I use so it's going to a new home):

And yes, I own all of these.

Saw this one on the exchange a while back. Hope the owner will forgive me jacking his pics. It is the most beautiful knife I've ever seen.

My William Henry Monarch B-05 with Carbon Fiber scales, Mike Sakma "Mokume Gane" (multi-layered copper and other metals, similar to damascus) bolster and frame, and Rob Thomas Typhoon damascus blade. Solid sterling bail and tips on the braided leather lanyard. I love to fondle it. My wife gave me it for Christmas.

I'd never be able to afford any of these knives, not even really a Sebenza (as much as I'm in love with them), but I'm somewhat content with my normal production folders. Who knows, maybe one day a beauty will fall in my lap?

Until then, it's all knife porn to me.

Kidding, but check out xiuxiu1313's video about a catch and release Custom Emerson Commander. Its a beauty.
