The most poisonous creature in the world

I was told that the most poisonous animal in the whole wide world is not the rattle snake, nor the cobra, or even the black mamba. It is a bright yellow coloured frog residing in Brazil.

One touch of its skin and it's Adios Amigo! It is that poisonous.

So what is the most poisonous animal or insect in your country?
 
WOMEN are the most poisoness creatures around here:D ! Their bite is worse than the most venomous snake, their sting more painful than the worst scorpion...and they're way more expensive than the best emergency medical facililty on the face of the earth!!!!:eek:

If ya wanna die for sure try the Box Jellyfish

(Species - Chironex Fleckeri)

There is literally no chance of survival and while you die you will be in excruciating pain. It is found around the Great Barrier Reef.

I heard that some of those conch shellfish that livein the deep south pacific has a deadly neuro-toxin. It supposedly works so fast, you'll be dead before you feel its stinger piercing your skin!!:barf:

Interesting, they are all yellow too. Maybe they should be in Brazil. Then again, no. The people of Brazil are too good for them.

good book. he makes a trip to australia,to see more than what most tourists do. very interesting. it covers everything from food to the box jellyfish to giant earthworms that grow 12 feet long.

i highly recommend it.
 
The trouble with Australia is that we have so many poisonous animals to choose from....
 
If creature may be microbe then you all need to run for cover with your snakes, polypes etc.: some botulin bacteriums generate poison so strong that THREE of those microbes are enough to kill a human. And think that you may find those everywhere.
 
Doc is correct. The most poisonous creature, at least from a typical attack, is the box jelly, or see wasp, or chironex fleckeri.
Cone snails' venom is particularly poisonous drop per drop, but they do not administer that much venom through their nematocysts. Conus geographus in particular is very bad.

I would guess the most poisonous creature in your neck of the woods would be the krait.

Ok, how about that Japanese Fugu Blowfish? Or whatever that species is that they insist on eating yet hundreds die each year from it's toxin.
Geez!

He: "Let's go to dinner!"

She:"OH!OH! Let's tempt fate too and order the Fugu. I hear it's really good!":rolleyes:
