I remember back when I decided to start making knives. I really only planned on making them for myself and close friends. Being so into hunting like I was, I thought it would be cool to make my own knife to process deer. I was into guns, hunting and reloading using my own loads to hunt with. I gutted, skinned and butchered my deer so having a knife made by me would really add to the whole experience.
With knifemaking, one thing lead to another, then came the internet and here I am today. I have so many to thank for my success, especially all of you that own and use my knives.
As for the title of this thread, the most rewarding part of knifemaking for me is to hear all of the stories and feedback from my customers. I'm truely amazed at some of the stories I hear.

Very cool Scott, it is great to hear where you came from, so to speak. I admire your work and someday hope to be able to follow my passion. Your work is amazing and your attention to detail is perfect. I am really enjoying you forum and look forward to posting some user pics and experience with the knife you made for me.

All the right reasons....I can not wait to share an article or three, photos and good times where I have used your knives mate.

My wife left me...thats ok, I still have my Tusker... :D
