A Couple Of Other Underrated Knife Brands:
Sanrenmu
Enlan
Navy

You Need To Look At The Traditional Knives Forum.
You'll Most Likely See The Knives You're Missing.

Not Every Knife Is Mentioned Here In General Knife Discussion, Because This Is Just The Overall Discussion.
If You're Looking For Info On A Specific Knife Type Or Brand... Check Out The Other Forums.

It's probably not as noticed because traditionals are generally not as popular now. Go over to the traditional section of this forum and you'll find a lot of discussion about Rough Rider.

You really should spend a bit more time looking around here before making assumptions!

Just as many, many people here have praised brands like brands like Buck, Gerber, Kershaw, Case, Schrade, Winchester, and other "mid priced" brands, (http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/933455-knife-snobbery), many of the hard core slippie fans have been raving about Rough Rider for years!

Poke around the place a bit!

Yeah Give Us Knife Knuts Some Credit.
We Appreciate All Knives Of Good Quality.
I've Owned A Few Rough Riders.
And My Favorite Traditionals I Own Are My China Made Schrade UH16 Hawkbill And My Kissing Crane Blue Sodbuster Jr.

Ganzo.......I have a ganzo 710. Its as smooth as my benchmades. Dead center blade, tight lockup. I love pretty much all the sanrenmus. But yes the ganzo is a blatant ripoff of the benchmade rift:(.....sad too say. but I have both.

I own two of the schrade knives made by taylor and im happy with both of them they both are well built and keep an edge very good for price

Well.. You Can Get A Knife That's Good For The Price...
Or You Can Get A Knife That Is Just Amazing Beyond The Price.

I have some Rough Riders. In my opinion, they are excellent quality knives for the price. Yeah, yeah, I have big name production knives and a couple of nice customs, so it's not my first time at the rodeo. However, I've started picturing a 10 year old Chinese kid or a political prisoner working 12 hours a day for bread and water. And I don't like the knives so much anymore.

I guess I'm OK then! I know that I own more RRs than I do Cold Steel!

well i hope none of you think im being mean about it, because in not trying to be

I didn't mean to be critical of you, or of anyone who buys Rough Rider knives. I have one in my pocket right now. Just saying I don't know how the knives can be decent and cost $10 if they are paying the workers much of anything.

David Boye. His dendritic cobalt knives are FANTASTIC and nobody here ever says a word about them...
