The Mountain Man

If anyone hasn't read it, the book called 'Crow Killer: The Sage of Liver Eating Johnson' may be one of the better books about the life and travels of
John "Jeremiah" Johnson.

Theres actually a book called Mountain Man by Vardis Fisher (I think) Which is basically the story of Jeremiah Johnson and they even make sure to tell you that on that back of the book. I got my copy up at Ft. Laramie when I was 9 or 10, way before I even saw the movie and it was a surprise when I finally did see the movie.

Different names in the book version, but more character development and it's more exciting too, that may just be because I prefer to read.

Here is that book on amazon: Link

The movie is an adaption of the books Crow Killer (non-Fiction) by Raymond W. Thorp Jr. and Mountain Man (Fiction) by Vardis Fisher.

Haven't seen you in a while bear, where have you been? Enjoyed your list of books on amazon
