First of all, thank you to all who have come before me! What a great way to experience different patterns and makers knives all at once! It was almost a bit overwhelming at first. This is what was inside:
I had originally planned to swap two moras for the okapi and opinel. But man o man are there a ton of things here. And after a night of fondling and comparing, I decided to take these 7 items:
Well, actually I decided on 6, but my dad came over and really liked the Alamo Boker, so I added it this morning. These are the items I am adding to the box:
There are two basic moras. One carbon and one stainless, for anyone curious how the two compare. There is also a NOS green Imperial Ireland frontier stockman, a Sabre knife from Japan, and the Schrade old timer from my dads pocket in exchange for the Boker. I also added a couple non traditional items. An outdoor edge “edc” knife with exchangeable blades included, an SOG lockback, a leatherman6 key fob, and a Sheffield multitool. Plus a Rustico brand leather super-loop keychain.
Everything is packed up and ready to be on the way to the next lucky participant.
