The Mrs here with a Friday update 11/16

For those of you following Jules's progress:

We found out he can't be treated for the thyroid cancer until maybe Feb due to the fact he had contrast with his ct scans in the hospital due to the iodine. OK, we can live with that.....

We got the final report from the biopsy. It appears to be Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. Ok, we can live with that.....

He has an appointment with the head of Thoracic Surgery next Tues, he needs surgery to remove the mass by the pancreas and at the same time I requested the ENT surgeon to remove the mass in the upper clavicle, one stop shopping. Ok, we can live with that....

He will then need chemo. Ok, we can live with that....

He will loose his gorgeous head of hair, I can live with that, not sure he can so I guess I will just have to shave my head too ;)

I refuse to live WITHOUT him! He is going to get thru this and be stronger than ever!!!
 
I can't pretend to know what you are feeling or going through, but I really hope all turns out well. Life surely is complex, wonderful, and sometimes heartbreaking. the best thing is that we all go through it together.

Mrs. Westllen, your husband is lucky to have you. Long ago, I, too, was very lucky to find a girl who has stuck with me all these years through thick and thin, including several serious health trouble episodes. I wish you both the best. A positive attitude is at least half the battle, and I can see you have that.

Actually, I think Jules will look great with the Yul Brynner look! Manly men can definitely pull that off.

With all the love that Jules has in his life, and the people sending smoke AND prayers, he WILL make it through all this!! He will come out on the top of the world!!
