Craig, you mentioned a new shipment due to arrive Sept 4th....the time has come! Can you let the faithful GH forumites know just when the big box comes from the other side of the world, and especially what's in it?? Is there anything unusual...maybe an Afghan, some Cheetlangs, or knives not listed in the catalog?
Also, is there any possibility you can get the Gurkha issue wrap (I disremembered its name) that is worn with the SN1?

September 7th - arrival date. The delay came with the holiday. BTW: This is only a partial shipment, and believe it or not, there are only 3 cheetlangs available! We'll be getting more in next month, but as you saw last time, the cheetlangs don't stick around very often. We did an intro special last shipment for $100.00. The normal price will be $139.00. If you want one of the three, give us a call on our toll-free line at 888-CYSTERN, ext 101. If you CAN wait, they'll be plenty more to go around in about 6 weeks.

Well, the box came in! There were some real beauties in it - notably the following new items:

1) Mini-Jungles of extraordinary quality with horn handles (many of them with white figuring). They're available on the website - just order a wood one and then select the horn handle option on the check-out form).

2) Wood handled cheetlangs (not the standard horn handled ones). The nicest part about these are the chakmaks and kardas. Believe it or not, they are full-tang versions complete with bolsters and buttcaps! Since they aren't usual inventory, I won't be charging any more for them despite the stunning chakmak and karda. They're $139.00. Call me if you want one at 888-297-8376, ext 101.

3) Horn handled 20 inch AKs - again, TB has really outdone himself on these. They are stunningly crafted - absolute perfection. Frankly, after the last shipment, I didn't think he could outdo himself. But he has. They are now truly the best khukuris available.

4) Dhankutes - the larger ones are back. For those of you who ordered the smaller ones, these are the same quality, only bigger. Until I get time to change the website, they're available at the "small" price currently listed. A bargain at twice the price.

5) I do have some white deer horn mini-jungles from the last order that I never put up anywhere. They are $100.00 - again, if you want one, give me a holler on the phone.

One Cheetlang is gone, but I hopefully will have pictures of the chakmak and karda posted later today for your enjoyment.

GH is getting in better and different stuff all the time! You know how it is...started out just wanting a practical, rosewood-handled WW2. Then it was the 3 mini-jungles for the boys...then one for myself. Then came the "balance" w/streaked horn handle (now I like horn, too!). The Zebra SN1 was next. I missed out on the 1st Cheetlangs because I was on AT. Now I'm budgeted for a horn Cheetlang and Afghan.
I'm finding it more difficult to deny that I'm becoming a collector, and it's all happening against my will. Soon it will really be a "Khukuri Safe". Yeah...right. I tell myself that I'm being strong and making a stand by deciding to wait for the 2 on order, and it's NOT truly because my khukuri account (formerly known as my "shootin' fund") is getting low.
So, while one of each in the new shipment is what I really would like to add to my non-collection, I'm going to hope that maybe the next shipment will hit the states early!
Is there a chance that the next horn Cheetlangs will have full-tang chakmas and kardas?!
The wood-handled Cheetlangs must be outstanding!
Also, is it unusual to start wanting a new khukuri every month...or week?!
