The "Muscat"

For quite a long time, I've been sitting on a few blade designs. Recently, I got serious about having them brought to life and after researching many of the knife makers, I asked John if he would make these designs for me.

I just wanted to share one of the designs with you all here in the forum just to get your initial thoughts. This one I've named the "Muscat" (the Muscat grape is a small grape that is responisble for some very sweet wine).

This is an EDC type of design, but I'm sure I will come up with about 2,000 other things to do with it...

I cannot thank John enough for bringing this one to life. As they say, the waiting is the hardest part. I thought about praying for patience in waiting for this to be mailed, but I know the Lord will test me....like, maybe another huge snow storm hits Illinois and John can't make it to the shop for a month...

And, just like a fine wine, JK's only get better with age! I think Mr. Petty was referring to JK's when he said that the waiting is the hardest part.

As I mentioned to you before, muscato wine is Connie`s and my favorite. I believe I also mentioned that one of these will be mine.

My wife and I love muscato wine and it's our favorite as well!! I also find it interesting that the Muscat grape is the world's oldest known grape variety (probably like the the knife in some form or fashion was one of first tools used by man).

John, I'm truly honored that you would have this design for yourself to use. Thank you my friend.
