It's the same G10 IMO. My guess is the the grade of G10 EKI has used over the years have been the same grade, just different textures, colors and thickness. EKI did have a NASA knife. Video of it too in use. Specwar BT with special shroud cutter.

Is that actually a tanto? Either way i really like the gradual curve to it, normally im not a tanto guy but this one is tempting.

Just received

My first Emerson.

It was a little on the stiff side on opening initially. I added a little Lube to the pivot, and it is as smooth as any I've used. Very nice. Very sharp.
