The Navitool is here, need some info please

For those of you that have either a Navitool or an I-QUIP, when I open one tool the others want to flop around a bit or even open with the one I am trying to open. I have to push the others back closed until the one I am opening is locked. I suspect this might be normal because of the locking mechanism used.

Can anyone shed some light? Does yours behave like this also?

And someone please tell me why there is a corkscrew?

Overheard in the wild...

Navitool owner: "we've been using the compass to go north for 2 hours already. shouldn't we have found camp by now?"
Fellow camper: "yeah, um... let's take a break and have some wine. anyone got a corkscrew?"
Navitool owner: "got ya covered!" :D
 
well there you go! if you have ever seen some of the early Tarzan movies with Johnny Weismuller you would understand that wine was a necessity.
