I don't hear much mention of them here on the forums.

What are your experiences with the new Blackjacks with 1095 Cryo-treated steel?

Thanks for any info,

Great, well made and VERY sharp.

They require a little more rust prevention that the A2 Blackjacks of yesterday, being 1095.

Thanks... glad to hear they're still a great knife.

One more question: Is the full stag "carver" handle suitable for field use? I really love the look of the big hunk of stag with no pommel. I've always wondered if they're primarily for display or collector pieces, or if they are durable enough for normal use.

Thanks for any opinions,
