At least the new 'look'. My colors have a tinge of purple/blue to them compared to the past. I'll get used to it, but I started turning off lights in my office to see if it was me and something screwy... ;)

Honestly, I couldn't agree more on the rep point disabling and abuse. I saw more 'attaboy' points given than honest appraisals. Soliciting and contests degenerated the concept to a new false level.

I DO thank all who gave out honest points to me and others before. Maybe there is another way. I'll survive just fine with no green announcements of my caste... even though I worked hard for my points. I'll walk the walk every day to show that.

Large text may make an appearance again in a little bit.
 
If you're using Internet Explorer, you can go to the VIEW pulldown menu and got to View > Text Size > Larger to get a bigger font.

I like the blue look.

Nope the size seems hard-coded in the .css style template.
 
The larger font is good for most of us old farts. I have my computer set up to show the format I want so it doesn't matter to me but if I didn't or I didn't know how to set my computer format the small font would be the berries.

It changes for me. It's not as dramatic as it used to be. The largest size used to be about four characters on the screen. But it does make a difference.
 
Funny, I didn't see a difference in the text size, myself. It looks like 12 point to me. As it was.

When I change the text view size in Explorer, all but the text in the body of a message changes. Most of that non-body text is irrelevant anyway.

Looks like a problem for some, but not all... Hmmm. Lots of complaints, so it must be valid.

Mine is mostly blue/lt. blue, but there are yellow bars at the top bottom.....blech....

I think I'm going to have to get reading glasses for my reading glasses.:D.:D.
 
oh why did you have to change the layouts?
I used to have that whole-blue scheme, whatever it was called.
This new thing looks like a hybrid of the previous ones. The parts don't really seem to fit.
Since the text body backgrounds are so light, it looks like the floats on the white background, effect enhanced by the darker blue areas. And the yellow is really out of place, and doesn't work with the hide button on the QR box for example.
I'll get use to it, but for now it seems pretty ugly, no offence.
 
Looks like some of you may have what you need. On the bottom of the pages now, is a pulldown menu with two choices: BFC regular and large print.

And it's REALLY LARGE!

You can hold down "ctrl" and scoll the wheel on your mouse to get the desired size too.

Gives you more choice in size.:eek:
