The New Clip Plates for RC-6?

Will the new belt clip plates be made available for sale separately for those of us with the old sheath? The new back will allow the knife ride a bit lower for easier draw.

Anybody? Has this been announced and I missed it or is it unknown at this time if the sheath back will be sold separately?
 
Not sure. I emailed Derrick and Wendy from KSF yesterday and they said that they dont know when they will get them in.
 
My question is will the back plates be offered for sale separately or not. If not, then I need to get another sheath for belt carry.
 
not really sure HD, I think it is still in the works ? and the pic was a proto type or to gauge public appeal
 
The only people that have ordered the sheath separately is Knifeworks.com. The ordered the complete Kydex sheath with clip plate. Two Wolves Outdoors order just the clip plates. No one else has ordered any of these.
 
I got the pic from the RC website. It said that the newer and RC-6s would come with the backplate, but older ones in stock would be sold with the molle clips. I figured it was a done deal. But all I need to make my sheath just fine for belt carry is that belt clip backplate.
